Qatar Airways has managerial & employee positions available in the following areas: Positions based in DOHA, QATAR: REVENUE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT (Vacant positions with job roles in brief) Ad-Hoc Group Officer • Develop tools/process to evaluate ad hoc group requests based on displacement cost. • Ensure that Ad-Hoc group requests are handled within a reasonable amount of time (based on available processes/tools) Application Development Specialist • Conduct systems performance analysis and evaluation of functionality, highlighting areas for system development. • To continuously enhance and upgrade system capabilities to suit Revenue Management business objectives. Decision Support Development Specialist • Works on the current Revenue Management System and analyze information to outcome with recommendations to improve the results and the systems. • Performs validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and propose to reformulate the models if necessary. Fare Distribution Coordinator • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of filing Fares, Rule, Booking class, Mileage, Routing and Taxes on ATPCO/all GDS’s so that the fares are readily available for sales and auto-price for all QR offices and Travel Agency Worldwide. • Resolve all other Tariffs related matters by coordinating with regional pricing teams and stations to clarify ambiguity (Helpdesk). Operational Research Specialist • To lead systems improvement and optimization projects and support ad-hoc requests • Prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions. Reporting & Analysis Controller • Support the development and generation of Key Performance Indicators and other required sources of management information to support informed decision making across the department. • Carry out ad-hoc analysis as commissioned by different RM functions to support decision-making. Reservations Control Officer • Effectively manage the process for passenger reservations. • Supervise QR help-desk, responding to all queries and discrepancies Reservations Control Supervisor • Supervise and ensure all tasks are properly conducted by reservation control agents • Effectively manage the process for passenger reservations Revenue Integrity Officer • Assist Controller to implement the process/procedures to minimize the abusive usage of inventory. • Collaborate with cross-department staff to take actions to promptly correct issues caused by false bookings. Secretary • Will ensure smooth functioning of the department administration by providing effective and efficient secretarial and administrative assistance. • Good skills in business application software (MS Office), file management and independent routine office administration. (Senior) Flight Analyst • Collaborate with the pricing and sales teams to implement revenue-increasing initiatives and update the revenue management system accordingly. • Ensure denied boarding rates are maintained at target levels. (Senior) Pricing Analyst • Manage the fare offering of a regional group of stations. Responsible for providing stations with market appropriate fares structures including: online, interline, ad hoc regional promotions, and tactical. • Maximize the station specific revenue and yield by working under the guidance of the Regional Pricing Manager to implement regional pricing strategies and fare products. Priority will be given to applications with relevant airline and or travel industry experience.
