Charleston Marriott Town Center located at 200 Lee St. East Charleston, WV has an immediate opening for a Captain-Banquet Beverage. Position is responsible for supervising banquet bar staff including training, development, and the performance of bar staff. May tend bar; creating and preparing beverages in accordance with customer or menu specifications; taking orders, serving food and beverage items to customers. Ensures the overall appearance and sanitation of the bar area is maintained. Position is responsible for cash handling and must do so in accordance with the Company's cash handling policy and procedures. Completes liquor requisitions, set up and/or closes the bar area following established procedures. Position requires excellent guest service skills; must be available to work a flexible schedule. Must meet any state and/or federal legal requirements associated with employment in this position. Previous bar tending experience required.
